Tami Jensen, MSN, AGACNP-BC

Tami Jensen is a Nurse Practitioner with Cardiovascular Consultants treating patients in the hospital as well as at the office.

Tami has been a nurse for almost 20 years working in the hospital. She concentrated a majority of this time in Cardiovascular ICU helping postoperative open heart patients recover immediately after surgery. In addition, she ensured they were educated and encouraged along the healing process until they felt ready to go home and care for themselves. Tami also worked in cardiovascular research identifying and assisting patients who were eligible for promising new treatments for atherosclerosis and valvular heart disease. Tami furthered her education in order to provide a higher level of care and now holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Madonna University. She is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Tami’s passion has always been in cardiology, specifically heart failure. She believes any complex illness needs a strong partnership between provider and patient to manage and maintain good quality of life.Treatment, education, and support are hallmarks of Tami’s philosophy of care, which centers on working together with patients to achieve their goals for health. Tami’s vast healthcare experience, love of teaching, and dedication to her patients results in the highest level of quality care.
